Hello. If you’ve made it this far, I can’t thank you enough. Many people want their thoughts and opinions heard, and I am grateful that you have chosen to hear mine. I have chosen to create this blog for a few reasons. Firstly, it’s a bucket list item that I have always found a bit curious. I mean, tons of people have blogs and they are all interesting in their own way. I guess this is just another way in which I am trying to make a mark on the world. Secondly, I hope to inform, enlighten, and instruct in any way possible. My goal is that through me putting my thoughts out to the public, that someone, somewhere might be stimulated into thinking something that they have never thought, do something they’ve never done, or be enlightened in a way in which they never have. To me, life is what you make of it, and I choose to make it extraordinary. How extraordinary can the life of a single, 22 year old biology and spanish major really be? I’m not really sure what the correct answer is to that question, but I do know that each day that I enjoy the company of another person, read something I’ve never read, and do something I’ve never done, that I get closer and closer to the correct answer.
I wish to keep this blog applicable to those in my respective demographic, the twenty-something men that have realized that they don’t really know anything about life. Although all readers are welcome, I will seek to find answers to questions that affect this demographic in particular, because I belong to it. I personally feel that there are few resources directed at our demographic and that we wander aimlessly to some degree until we “figure it out”. Hopefully, the thoughts and ideas presented here will influence young men like myself to examine what they are doing with their lives, and what they wish to do with their lives, how they are living them, and how they wish to live them. I will share my experiences, thoughts, and ideas on what I believe makes a successful young man in all areas of life, from simple things like hobbies and health to the more complex things such as relationships and dating. I likely won’t get all of it (if any) right, but I’ll share what I know (or at least what I think I know) regardless. I hope everyone enjoys.
